This model includes the JDC cap, designed for dispersing the force of impact away from the elbow joint. And the molded PE foam coverage included in this cap provides even more protection while also offering great comfort.

PE foams are used in other key areas of the 9080 elbow pad as well. In the forearm, the molded PE is strategically placed to offer protection where needed without sacrificing mobility. And in the bicep, molded PE inserts complement the articulated design for a great level of protection and comfort that work well with the CCM Tacks shoulder pads.

For the attachment system, CCM uses a three-strap construction - a lycra mesh middle lock strap, an elastic bicep strap, and a nylon forearm strap. The elastic bicep strap is used throughout the new Tacks line, including in the top-end AS1, providing a locked-in feel while the mesh middle strap and nylon forearm strap provide quality comfort and protection, fully securing the elbow pad to your arm.
