CCM includes their top-of-the-line D3O smart material in the AS-V model. D3O has a unique molecular structure which allows molecules to flow freely in standard conditions, giving the material a soft and flexible feel. On impact, the molecules lock together to absorb and dissipate impact energy, reducing the amount of force transmitted to your body.
