TRUE uses a 3-piece design for their new XC9 elbow pads. This construction, popular among top-of-the-line elbow pads, offers more mobility and coverage, giving you the ability to flex and move your arms more during play which will help with your stickhandling, passing, and shooting, while also providing more overall protection in key areas.
For added protection, TRUE includes compression molded EVA foam within the 3-piece design. This technology is strategically placed within the elbow pad to provide you with enhanced shock absorption, helping to protect against impacts like slashes, blocked shots, or contact with the ice and boards.
The XC9 elbow pads also include adjustable bicep and forearm straps. This attachment system offers a customizable fit based on personal preference, helping to lock the protective features in place so the elbow pads don’t shift around on your arms during play. Inside the XC9 pads, TRUE includes a moisture wicking liner to keep the pads lightweight throughout play for added comfort. And after you’re done skating, this liner helps the pads dry out faster so they’re ready to go for your next on-ice session.
